Built from what others left behind
Flophouze began as a salvage project — a neglected building on FM-1291 that everyone walked past without seeing what was inside. We saw both: the bones of a structure worth saving, and the discarded objects that had been waiting decades for someone to notice them.
We bought the building. We started hunting for what went in it. Every floorboard, every light fixture, every piece of furniture was either salvaged, restored, or sourced from other buildings that had given up their useful life. The hotel and the shop share the same philosophy: things have value as long as someone cares enough to keep them in use.
Fayetteville is a small town with deep roots, and we're proud to be part of its next chapter — one restored detail at a time.
